Family ContactWho benefits | Family access | Young persons role Positive contact with family members is encouraged at all points throughout the programme. The Family Therapist will meet with the birth family regularly while the young person is in the TimeWise programme. It is anticipated that the young person's birth family will engage with the TimeWise team in order to strengthen the success of the programme. The TimeWise team will work with the parents, the young person, and the young person’s therapist to build better links. In time they will also work with the parents to use the points and levels system of the programme when the young person is having contact in the family home. |
